Executive Summary
HELENG stands for High-efficient, Expandable, Light Engine and Generator. HELENG Inc. was funded by Jack Jeng and his team in February 2020 with the divine vision and mission to reduce global energy related pollution significantly and focus on automobile hybrid engines and electric generators/powerplants.
The major contributors to the global CO2 emissions are Power Industry 38.0%, Transportation 21.0%, Agriculture 12.0%, and Industry 10.0%. Our solution to Power Industry is the “Highly-efficient, Zero-carbon-emission Powerplants. and solution to Transportation is the “Highly-efficient Hybrid Engine Vehicles”.
We want to challenge the current all-electric EV industry and win the race with the U.S. patented Rocket Turbine Engine (RTE) technology-based hybrid engine named Rocket Turbine Hybrid Engine (RTHE). An RTHE-based hybrid vehicle improves the MPG (Miles-Per-Gallon) significantly, especially for trucks.
We want to challenge the current power industry and win the race with the “Highly-efficient, Zero-carbon-emissions Powerplants” named Rocket Turbine Engine Generators (RTEG) and Rocket Turbine Power Plant (RTPP). An RTEG-12MW generator composed of twelve RTEG-1M generators can be fitted into a 40-ft cargo container to be shipped and installed instantly. An RTPP is composed of many stacked RTEG-12MW/40-ft-contrainers that only occupied very small real estate. No step-up/step-down transformers, transmission lines, water-cooling systems are required for RTPPs.
The revolutionary invention of the Rocket Turbine Engine improves the “thermal efficiency” of a reciprocal piston-based ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) from 35% to 60% or more. While single-cycle gas turbine engine typically achieves energy conversion efficiencies between 20% and 35%, the RTE is expected to reach thermal efficiencies of 60% or higher. The patented and lab tests validated Rocket Turbine Engine is a highly efficient, friction-less, high-power density, compact, lightweight, mechanically simple, and quiet turbine engine. No liquid-cooling system, oil changes, or starter motor are required for RTE operations.
RTEs couple with Axial Flux Motors (AFMs) to form various high-power density and compact Rocket Turbine Hybrid Engines (RTHEs) for vehicles ranging from passenger cars to semi-trucks. The RTE-AFM combination hybrid engines are designed to significantly improve miles per gallon (MPG), especially for trucks. Both the RTE and AFM have pancake shapes and can be co-shafted to expand their power output to meet most automobile engine requirements. An RTE-AFM hybrid engine can be directly connected to an existing transmission (gearbox), instantly converting any cars or truck into a hybrid-engine vehicle.
RTE-AFMs can also be expanded to various Rocket Turbine Engine Generators (RTEGs) without a liquid-cooling systems. RTEGs can be transform to “zero-carbon-emissions”, highly-efficient, compact, large capacity generators and powerplants.
An RTE-AFM can also be an engine-generator combination for propeller driven vehicle such as airplane, helicopter or boats/ships. We named these products as Rocket Turbine Propeller(Prop) Engine (RTPE).
